MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT FOR OPIOID / ALCOHOL DEPENDENCY
Medications are often utilized to assist with management of cravings, or as a deterrent to drug and alcohol use. Studies have shown these approaches to be very effective in keeping patients engaged with recovery, as well as maintaining long-term sobriety from all substances. The most commonly utilized medications are: Buprenorphine/Naloxone (Suboxone), Naltrexone, and Vivitrol (once-monthly intramuscular Naltrexone).
OUTPATIENT OPIOID TAPER & DETOX
Detoxing from opioids can be a very unpleasant and painful experience. We offer tapering and discontinuation protocols to ease this transition to sobriety. Each patient’s medication regimen is determined individually, in order to determine and utilize the lowest effective dose(s).
EVALUATION & MANAGEMENT OF CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS
Anxiety, depression, and insomnia are very common conditions seen in this population of patients. Ineffective recognition and management of these symptoms is a major risk factor for relapse to substance use.

RECOVERY COACHING & COUNSELING
Early recovery can be especially stressful, and stress can lead to relapse. We offer all essential recovery services in one location, including: CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), relapse prevention therapy, biofeedback, and hypnosis. Working with in-house counselors and clinicians, our patients are assisted with navigating this crucial period. If a patient has already established care with their own counselor, we are still able to provide complementary and collaborative medical care as they continue seeing their own counselor.
