What is the TenJet procedure?

The TenJet procedure is a potential treatment for chronic tendinopathy (long-term tendon damage and pain). It offers an alternative to ultrasonic, mechanical, or radiofrequency tools that are tissue-selective and doesn't rely on heat energy.

Minimally invasive TenJet uses two-channel 12-gauge needles under the guidance of real-time ultrasound imaging to remove damaged tendon tissues. It delivers a controlled supersonic saline (saltwater) stream that acts as a blade to cut away the target tissues without affecting healthy areas nearby.

At the same time, the Venturi suction system takes away the diseased tissue. TenJet consists of single-use hand-held instruments that hold, cut, or ablate tissue more quickly and accurately than surgical approaches.

When might I need to undergo the TenJet procedure?

The TenJet procedure is an effective treatment for repetitive strain injuries such as:
